Moe's Alley welcomes back guitar legend  DICK DALE for a very special intimate performance.

Dick Dale is the Creator and Pioneer of his own Genre of music AND OF LOUD MUSIC SOUND in 1955 marking 64 years in the business.

Dick is the Creator and pioneer of Fender Equipment with Leo Fender who was like a second Father to Dick Dale in the late 1950s+60s. 

Dick Dale is noted as the Father of Heavy Metal, The Father of Loud, The Father of Rock, The Pioneer of Loud Music Sound and Music Legend Dick Dale plus many more!

Dick Dale began his career with Art LaBoe standing on a soap box performing left handed upside down backward.

MANAGER Mark Hendrix then hired Dick Dale to do an Elvis impersonation as Dick Won the Elvis contest and performed at the world famous Orpheum Theater aka State Theater in 1956 opening films "Love Me Tender" and "Jailhouse Rock" Also in 1958 Dick Dale was on TV show Town Hall party with all of the Country Greats of the Day and they all loved him.
My husband Dick Dale is also responsible for reopening up The Rendezvous Ballroom in Balboa after Stan Kenton and drawing 4000 kids per weekend night Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday as well as Harmony Park in the thousands.

After Dick Dale battled in 1964 Rectal Cancer while making Beach Party Movies for William Asher and was told he would not live as the Cancer was in his lower Intestines.

Pioneer Dick Dale then Built ground up 30,000 square feet his own two nightclubs as they were considered two of the largest Nightclubs in southern Ca. 
Dick Dale did it all as he was the Manager and cook as well as performed in them and he hired the largest Acts in Vegas of the day and knew the business blindfolded.
Dick Also opened a tiny beer bar as wel.l
Dick is the second most influential Guitarist in the world we are told as well as has received just about every award accept the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame and the Kennedy Honors and no star on Hollywood walk but does have his hand prints in front of Guitar Center in Hollywood, Ca. next to Leo Fender side by side.

DD is in the Presidential Hall of Records/In a chip going around Mars and the Moon by the Astronauts as well as a hundred + more awards. He has notably the ATFL gala award and was voted in by 100,000 into the Musicians Hall of Fame in 2009. Dick Dale pushed Ritchie Valens on stage and his family still comes to see DD to this day as they love him dearly. 
DD had Buddy Holly open for him, The Beach Boys, Jan and Dean, The Ramones and the list goes on and on and on!  Les Paul loved Dick Dale and DD Loved Les Paul as both are Pioneers and Creators of their own music sound.
