Moe's Alley welcomes back JESUS DIAZ Y SU QBA for a night of live Salsa, Timba & Afro-Cuban dance music featuring an All-Star live band. This will be a special cd release celebration for their brand new 2016 release "La Jungla".

Cuban born percussionist Jesus Diaz arrived in the United States from Habana in 1980. He quickly identified the San Francisco Bay Area music scene as the grounds to establish a new home. His local and worldwide performances in collaboration with world renowned and acclaimed artists are recognized for their contributions to the richness of an ever-expanding musical genre worldwide.
Jesus Diaz y su Qba was founded 1998 in the San Francisco Bay Area. Throughout the pass 13 years Qba has performed in many festivals, including the San Francisco jazz festival, San Jose jazz festival, Reno Jazz festival, Reggae on the River festival, Yerba Buena Garden events and festivals to name a few. As well as many corporate and private events.
Qba is a 10 piece orchestra that features original compositions base on traditional Afro-Cuban music with the influence of Funk, and Jazz. This is the new sound of Cuban dance music known as “Timba”
