This is a night to celebrate as 2012 draws to a close and 2013 comes calling. SambaDá has been hard at work on a new album (look for CD release in 2013) and is ready to celebrate with their beloved Moe’s Alley Community. Inspired by new collaborations with super-talented bass player Etienne Franc and amazing Senegalese percussionist Ibou Ngom, Dandha, Papiba and the rest of the hardworking members of SambaDá have been busy exploring new dimensions of the Afro Brazilian Samba Funk they love. They can’t wait to share this new music with Santa Cruz and beyond!
SambaDá is excited to have special guests Flor de Caña open, specialists in Cuban Son and Columbian Cumbia. The dance floor is going to be hot & sweaty with two bands dedicated to playing excellent dance music all night! Come travel on a musical journey through the Caribbean and Latin America to Brazil, without leaving your area code!
